Latest NewsGREEN MOUNTAIN ALPACA FALL SPECTACULAR 2009
We will be returning to the show ring this fall with our georgeous fawn female Anne's Luck. Hope to see you there, with any luck, in the winners circle. |
Latest NewsWELCOME SPRINTER This very healthy dark brown boy was born to Ore Hill Lidia on 9/12/09 after an accidental breeding last fall. That Lucas just can't get enough! From the looks of Sprinter we should have more accidents! |
Latest NewsANN'S LUCK We were complimented on our ability to breed high quality alpacas at the Green Mountain Alpaca Fall Spectacular on Sunday. Our 14 month old female, Ann's Luck, won a 2nd place ribbon. Judge Amanda VandenBosch commented that she "had the finest fiber in the class and was only placed in second because of her color variation from side to topline". We are very proud! We have lucky for sale for $10,000. This price will go up when she is bred in the early spring. |

| SPRINTER! 9/12 |
| Lucas sired a very promising dark brown boy out of our wonderful rose grey Ore Hill Lidia. He was running the pasture little more than an hour after his birth, and gained 6 pounds in his first week. Lidia is the most attentive mother on our farm and she deserves all the credit. She must be getting tired chasing Sprinter around the pasture. |

| Prince Lucas is Proving his Potential |
| Lucas now has 3 offspring on the ground. Although all have been boys he is producing some very fine and dense fiber in his offspring. We were planning to bring one of the boys to the GMAFS this fall but we sadly had to scratch him last minute. This little boy may have the nicest fiber on our farm. Lucas is available for breeding at a very affordable $500.00. Come take a look! |

| Stars and Stripes |
| Watch out in the show ring next spring because Stars and Sripes will tough to beat in the browns. This perfect young lady was born to our Prima (white) aftera breeding to Koufax (fawn). Both had gave their best traits. She has a white stripe around her neck and both front legs as well as a white star on her forehead. The rest of her body is a perfect uniform brown. She is dense and fine with nice luster and crimp. My wife cannot wait to spin up her fiber. |
